Click the upper Browse... button to select your QuickTime file you would like to convert.
Browse for the necessary QuickTime file in the opened Windows Explorer Window. Click Open button next to the filename of the Windows Explorer Window to load QuickTime extension file to QuickTime to TS Converter shareware. The QuickTime (.mov, .qt) is a file format for storing and playing back movies with sound. Though developed and supported primarily by Apple Computer, this flexible format isn't limited to Macintosh operating systems. It's also commonly used in Windows systems, and other types of computing platforms. In Windows, QuickTime files usually appear with the ".mov" filename extension.
On February 11, 1998 the ISO approved the QuickTime file format as the basis of the MPEG-4 Part 14 container standard. By 2000, MPEG-4 Part 14 became an industry standard, first appearing with support in QuickTime 6 in 2002. Accordingly, the MPEG-4 container is designed to capture, edit, archive, and distribute media, unlike the simple file-as-stream approach of MPEG-1 and MPEG-2. Since 2002, Apple has started using MPEG-4 video encoding on its QT streams, producing much better, if not excellent, video quality.

Click MORE button and select the list TO TS placed along on the top of the interface. It means you want to convert QuickTime files you have selected to the container TS formats.

Click the drop-down list next to TS profile, you can select a preset profile for the output TS video MPEG2 codec.
Click Edit... button to set more details, if you want to customize the parameters of your selected profile.

TS stands for Transport Stream. It is a container format specified in MPEG2 Part 1. Its design goal is to allow multiplexing of digital video and audio and to synchronize the output. Transport stream offers features for error correction for transportation over unreliable media, and is used in broadcast applications such as DVB and ATSC.
