Click the upper Browse... button to select your QuickTime file you would like to convert.
Browse for the necessary QuickTime file in the opened Windows Explorer Window. The QuickTime (.mov, .qt) is a file format for storing and playing back movies with sound. On February 11, 1998 the ISO approved the QuickTime file format as the basis of the MPEG-4 Part 14 container standard. By 2000, MPEG-4 Part 14 became an industry standard, first appearing with support in QuickTime 6 in 2002. Accordingly, the MPEG-4 container is designed to capture, edit, archive, and distribute media, unlike the simple file-as-stream approach of MPEG-1 and MPEG-2. Since 2002, Apple has started using MPEG-4 video encoding on its QT streams, producing much better, if not excellent, video quality.

Click TO VOB button placed along on the top of the interface. It means you want to convert the container format of QuickTime files you have selected to DVD VOB formats.

Click the drop-down list next to VOB profile, you can select a preset profile for the output VOB video.
Click Edit... button to set more details, if you want to customize the parameters of your selected profile.

VOB stands for DVD Video Object. The VOB file is one of the core files found on DVD-Video discs and contains multiplexed Dolby Digital audio (normally AC3 format) and MPEG-2 video. VOB files on a DVD are numbered as follows: vts_XX_y.vob where XX represents the title and Y the part of the title. There can be 99 titles and 10 parts, although vts_XX_0.vob does not contain any video, usually just menu or navigational information. You can find them on a DVD video disc in a subdirectory labelled VIDEO_TS.
