Click the upper Browse... button to select your DivX file you would like to convert.
Browse for the necessary DivX file in the opened Windows Explorer Window. Click Open button next to the filename of the Windows Explorer Window to load DivX extension file to DivX to FLV Converter shareware. Make sure before clicking you have selected a DivX file you want to convert.
You may also click + button or use drag-and-drop to add multiple DivX files.

DivX (Digital Video Express), being XviD spelled backwards, is a brand name of products created by DivX, Inc. (formerly DivXNetworks, Inc.), including the DivX Codec which has become popular due to its ability to compress lengthy video segments into small sizes while maintaining relatively high visual quality. The DivX codec uses lossy MPEG-4 compression, where quality is balanced against file size for utility. It is one of several codecs commonly associated with "ripping", whereby audio and video multimedia are transferred to a hard disk and transcoded. Many newer "DivX Certified" DVD players are able to play DivX encoded streaming video, although the Qpel and global motion compensation features are often omitted to reduce processing requirements. They are also excluded from the base DivX encoding profiles for compatibility reasons.

Click TO FLV button placed along on the top of the interface. It means you want to convert DivX files you have selected to FLV formats.

Click the drop-down list next to FLV profile, you can select a preset profile for the output FLV file.
Click Edit... button to set more details, if you want to customize the parameters of your selected profile.

Flash Video file is the name of a file format used to deliver video, similar to SWF video, over the Internet using Adobe Flash Player. Notable video websites using FLV format are YouTube, Myspace, Google Video, Reuters.com, and Yahoo! Video, etc. Make sure that the YouTube videos and Google videos communicating online are of the Flash Video file, or SWF video file.
