Convert H264 to AC3

Click the upper Browse... button to select H264 file you would like to convert.
Browse for the necessary H264 file in the opened Windows Explorer Window. Click Open button next to the filename of the Windows Explorer Window to load H264 file to RER Audio Converter - H264 to AC3 converter.
You may also click + button or use drag-and-drop to add multiple H264 files.

H264 is a standard for video compression, and is equivalent to MPEG-4 Part 10, or MPEG-4 AVC (for Advanced Video Coding). The final drafting work on the first version of the standard was completed in May 2003. As of 2008, it is the latest block-oriented motion-compensation-based codec standard developed by the ITU-T Video Coding Experts Group (VCEG) together with the ISO/IEC Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG), and it was the product of a partnership effort known as the Joint Video Team (JVT). The ITU-T H.264 standard and the ISO/IEC MPEG-4 Part 10 standard (formally, ISO/IEC 14496-10) are jointly maintained so that they have identical technical content.

Click TO AC3 button placed along on the top of the H264 to AC3 converter interface. It means you want to convert H264 to AC3.

Click the drop-down list next to AC3 profile, and you can select a preset AC3 profile for the output AC3 file.

Click Edit... button to set more details, if you want to customize the parameters of your selected profile.

AC3 is Audio Coding 3. The AC3 standard is being replaced with AAC, although AC3 will continue to live on for many decades due to the number of systems and networks which currently utilize it.
